You can now reset your PC login password on your own. It order to do this you will need to register your account first to set up a cell phone associated with your account. This number is not shared with the system and is only used for the purpose of verifying your identity. Please follow the below steps.
Starting July 1st you will ONLY be able to get your login password reset by using this feature. Once this is set up you can reset your PC password by going to somdauto.com/support and clicking the link to reset your PC password using the forgot password link. You can do this from any compter anywhere in the world.
INSTRUCTIONS
- Go to our Support Home Page somdauto.com/support and Click on Register to Reset Password
- Then click the link shown below with red arrow.
- Type your user ID, it is the same thing you type to logon to your PC. Make sure to put @kodyholdings.onmicrosoft.com at the end as shown.
- If you have entered a correct UserID you will get the below password prompt. It is the same as your current PC logon password. Enter your password and click Sign In
- Once you have successfully logged in you will see the below. Click Next
- The below screen is where you set up your cell phone. Click the link indicated for Authentication Phone
- Enter your cell phone as shown below. Then click text me.
- You will receive a verification code on your cell phone. Please enter it as indicated below and click Verify.
- That is all. Now you’re setup to reset your password on your own. Click finish.
Once this is set up you can reset your PC password by going to somdauto.com/support and clicking the link to reset your PC password using the forgot password link. You can do this from any compter anywhere in the world. In the future, you will need this setup to access your PC on your desk once I turn on Two-Factor authentication.
